You see, I created the tag name "cheesechima" when I was in high school and everybody used AIM (omg, feeling old yet?) Years down the line, when I decided to create this blog to keep my love for writing alive, I knew I had to pick a name quickly while the momentum was in full stride. I decided to use "cheesehima" which was a corny pun meant to say "she's Hima". Full House fans will get the joke.
Anyways, it was definitely time to retire that tag name. Don't get me wrong, I'll always be cheesehima in my heart, but I wanted to take my blog in a different direction.
After months of contemplating a new name, I finally came up with Frayed Feems. Some of my friends call me "Feems" and it was quite a unique nickname that I grew to love over the years. Combining my love for clothing, I wanted a pun that was genuine to who I am as a person. I didn't want a generic fashion blogger name (no offense to anyone who has one! That's just not my style). So I decided to do a play on words of "frayed seams". See what I did there?
I don't know if this will be the permanent name for my blog, but I'm loving it at this moment. I guess that's the beauty of blogging, everything is in your hands. Who knows, I might change the name again and again till I find the perfect one, but I needed a new start and this was step one.
With a new name and new look to the site, I hope to produce a whole bunch of new content for you guys. I want to thank whoever is reading this for still sticking around while I get my life in order (or at least try to, hah.)
