Mini E.L.F. Haul

Hey lovelies! So I'm back with a mini E.L.F. cosmetics haul. I stopped by their studio retail store on Saturday 6/13/15 and did a little shopping.
taken at the e.l.f. studio retail store located in 741 Broadway, New York

For those who aren't familiar with the brand, E.L.F. stands for Eyes Lips Face. This makeup brand launched back in 2004 and all products were sold for only $1 each! This was one of the 1st makeup brands I tried out with my allowance money haha. Since then, the company has extended its line of products and still maintains to be affordable but good quality. For frugalistas like myself, this company is our BFF! I wanted to show y'all what I got, so here it is:

Stipple Brush
The stipple brush could be used for multi-purposes. You can apply your foundation with this, or cream blushes. I like to mix my BB cream and moisturizer on the back of my hands and dot it on my face, then take the stipple brush and blend everything evenly on to my face. Only $3! get it here
Blending Brush
The blending brush is perfect for blurring out harsh lines on an eyeshadow look. For example: if you use a light color on the lid and a deep color in the crease, you take this blending brush and sweep the line where those 2 colors meet and you'll have a beautiful seamless look!
The only thing I don't like about it is the shape of the bristles, they're awkwardly long...but maybe that's just me lol

Instant Lift Brow Pencil

Unfortunately, I had an eyebrow fiasco last week which has made me surrender myself to the art of filling in my brows. I picked up this new brow pencil in dark brown because it's only $2 and I hope I don't have to fill mine in for too long, so why buy anything too expensive? I have yet to try it out but for 2 bucks, its a steal.

Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer
#21712 "Champagne"
I usually always purchase this eyeshadow base in sheer (#21711), but I decided to switch it up and purchase the champagne color. I figured I could use this when I use shimmer shadows, and as you can see there are little flecks of glitter in this formula. I have yet to try it out.
Only $2 get it here
Pressed Mineral Blush
#6324 "Wanderlust", swatch on the right picture
THIS PICTURE DOES NO JUSTICE!!! I highly suggest checking out the website for this product and pictures because this blush color is to die for. It is truly one of the prettiest muted rose shades I have ever seen and the pigmentation is out of this world! So creamy and smooth but MATTE which makes me, a matte face lover very VERY happy!! Can you tell by all the exclamations and caps lock that I love this? Lmaooooo
$5 get it here
Mineral Lipstick
#6719 "Beautiful Berry"

I already have some of the mineral lipsticks but since I was in the store and saw the full line up, this color stood out to me the most. This deep berry shade has a hint of brown in it and I love the moisturizing feeling on my lips. Its not super opaque, but on days that I take a break from my matte lips, I gravitate towards these lippies.

So that's my mini haul! I hope you found it helpful and try some of these products out. Trust me you wont break the bank at the checkout. Happy shopping! And as always, happy reading! xoxo
