February Favorites

Happy March! You know what the beginning of a new month means: favorites post! I have become such a creature of habit, I rarely try out new products. I did have a couple of products that I've been utterly obsessed with, so I want to share them with you!

1. Nike Roshe Runs

I've been living in sweatpants this past month. They are just so comfortable and a nice alternative to leggings when I'm wearing a hip length top. For a long time (6 years in between junior year of high school to 2 years ago) I did not wear sneakers at all. I became a boots and heels type of gal. I originally purchased these Nike Roshe Runs in Black Teal/Dark Sea/Teal Tint  for working out but they are just so comfortable that I now wear them whenever I have to go out and run errands. Seriously the most comfortable sneakers I've ever worn, they feel like you're walking on air! Love these babies so much. They come in so many different colors and designs.

I got them from Finish Line 2 years ago, I think the print was limited. There is one pair currently for sale on eBay

2. Coconut Oil

I know this is quite random, but Coconut oil is an all purpose miracle product. I use it to cook, I use it to remove my makeup, and most often I use it as an overnight conditioner for my hair. I recommend just about everyone to have coconut oil in your pantry because you can use it for so many things. I got mine at Target for $5! Inexpensive, multipurpose and natural- need I say more??

3. Real Techniques Brushes

What was life before these brushes? I cannot recall...

But really! These brushes are such an everyday necessity for me. They make getting ready enjoyable because the bristles are so fluffy and soft and feel so nice on the face. I picked up the powder and blush brushes from Ulta in January when there was a BOGO free sale (thanks to Karla for letting me know!) and I couldn't be happier. I got such amazing brushes, 2 for the price of 1. Even though I love my E.L.F. brushes, these Real Technique babies have taken over my everyday face routine.

I already owned the contour brush from the Core Collection, and as I mentioned in my 2015 makeup favorites video (watch below) I use it to blend out my under eye concealer because it fits in there pretty well and blends out the makeup quickly without any streaking.

4. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream, Rome

I just about ran out of my house when I saw the new release colors for the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. The 2 colors I wanted right away were Rome and Budapest. Both colors are very similar, but Budapest has a little more pink in it. Rome (pictured above) has quickly taken the place of my everyday lip color. Its the perfect brownish pink that goes with any and every outfit/makeup look. I am gaga for this color. I can just wear this all by itself on my lips with a bare face and feel confident and pretty. Such a gorgeous color. Thank you NYX for always creating amazing quality makeup for an affordable price!

That wraps up my February favorites. Since I've been trying to minimize the amount of makeup I wear and money I spend, I try to rediscover items in my stash. Hopefully next month and I can share more items with you all. Hope you enjoyed this post and thanks for reading! xoxo
